Building on its success in digital collecting games in Sports and Entertainment, Dublin BIC assisted company Fantom has opened a US office. Based in Enterprise Ireland’s incubation space in the prestigious Ireland House, Park Avenue, New York, the Fantom sales team will be targeting US primarily sports, media and CPG clients on the Eastern Seaboard.
Head of Business Development Oran Bambrick has relocated to NY to head up the US-based sales focus. He commented, “many of the conversations I have daily are with clients and new sales leads in the US. It’s a country that loves its sports, and gets social apps. It became increasingly obvious we should be over here, and not running the sales operation from Dublin.”
Fantom is the world’s leading digital collecting game on browser and tablet with a mobile client in development. Fantom is working with some of Europe’s biggest sports leagues/teams and entertainment brands from Premiership and Championship soccer teams to the European Rugby competition, The Heineken Cup.
The Fantom digital sticker book format offers a collecting game that creates multiple engagements brand promotion opportunities for retail and sports clients. Scheduled sticker book releases for October include Heineken Cup Rugby, Mattel Monster High Dolls, and a 2nd screen app with Irish broadcaster RTÉ.
The Enterprise Ireland incubation space is open to EI client companies ready for US market entry. The EI Americas team additionally assists incubation space companies with market research, key introductions, mentoring, and additional administrative services.
