18 November 2013 – iMobMedia, a mobile marketing platform that enables brands to target consumers with offers in real-time based on preference, profile and proximity, earned top honors at the 2013 Mobile Marketing Awards under ‘Best Mobile Sales Promotion Campaign’ category.
iMobMedia, a Dublin BIC assisted startup, was announced as the standout entry for the use of proximity, CRM and user targeting in a Telefónica Ireland client campaign that aimed to retain and acquire new subscribers. The campaign was praised for the strong use of mobile functionality and demonstrated impact to prevent user churn, a significant business problem in the industry. iMobMedia was also recognised with two additional awards in Best Enterprise Messaging Campaign and Best Use of Location Based Services.
The coveted annual Mobile Marketing Awards recognise and salute the best companies, products and deployments, and those that set the bar of excellence in mobile marketing in Ireland. Winners are chosen by an independent panel of leading Irish and international mobile marketing experts. The distinguished judging panel included Conor Mullen (RTÉ Digital), Fintan Lonergan (O2 Media), Shane Nolan (Google), Eamon Hession (Púca) and David Connor (eightytwenty). The Awards are open to all brands, digital agencies, advertising & media suppliers, and Irish-based companies involved in developing mobile marketing solutions/campaigns.
